Summer 2005 - Cynthia returned from five weeks in Florence, Italy in August after taking a two week workshop under Maestro Michael John Angel. Cynthia's Self Portrait was painted utilizing the 16th and 17th Century Portrait Painting techniques learned in this workshop.
Fall 2005 - Cynthia's painting "Daydreams" was juried into the Watercolor Society of North Carolina's annual juried show. With this achievement Cynthia was granted Signature Status with this organization.
Fall 2005 - Cynthia was chosen to be included in the 25th Anniversary Edition of Who's Who of American Woman 2006-2007
March 2006 - Castleknob, The First in a Series Entitled The Kudzu Clan, was released to the public on March 27th. This was Cynthia's first published book. The second book in the series, The Sang Hunters, is in the works!
Fall 2006 - Cynthia was chosen to be included in the 26th Anniversary Edition of Who's Who of American Woman 2007.
Fall 2007 - Cynthia was chosen to be included in the 61st Anniversary Edition of Who's Who in America 2007.
Fall 2007 - Cynthia was chosen to be included in the 25th Anniversary Edition of Who's Who in the World 2008.
February 2008 - Cynthia now has a gallery room in her husband's seafood restaurant, Stillwater Fish Camp, in Franklin. Plan to stop by and view her latest works.
Fall 2008 - Cynthia has three paintings on display in the Swain County Center for the Arts Community Exhibit in Bryson City, NC.
Upcoming: In February and March 2009, Cynthia will have a one woman exhibit at the Swain County Center for the Arts in Bryson City, NC. Plan now to visit!
